3 Signs You Might Prefer Hookah Diving Over Traditional Scuba Diving

You may have always dreamed of going scuba diving so that you can see all of the creatures and plants underneath the ocean's surface, or you might even have some experience with traditional scuba diving. Before you assume that traditional scuba diving is your best and only option, you should consider learning a little more about hookah diving. With hookah diving, your air supply is kept above the water when you go diving. A few signs that hookah diving might be the best type of diving for you are listed here.
1. You Like Diving With Others
First of all, if you are someone who likes diving with others, then you might prefer hookah diving. Since you and your diving companions will be tethered together and will all be getting your air supply from the same hookah, then you will be required to stay somewhat close together, although you will still have some freedom. This is a much safer form of diving, for one thing, since you and your diving companions will be able to keep an eye on one another while you're diving.
2. You Have a Smaller Boat
Another sign that hookah diving might be right for you is if you have a smaller boat. If you have gone traditional scuba diving on your boat and have found that you didn't really have enough room for the tanks, then you could be wondering if there is an option that will work better with your smaller vessel. Since hookah diving equipment does not take up as much space, then it might work better on your boat.
3. You Don't Like the Weight of a Tank
If you have experience with traditional scuba diving, then you might have found that diving with an air tank was a bit of an annoyance. After all, having to lug a large tank around for you can be a pain. It can actually be a chore, too, particularly for those who might not be very strong.
